Auburn vs. Alabama: How to watch, live stream, start time, TV channel
AUBURN — Auburn football finishes the regular season hosting rival Alabama on Saturday at 2:30 pm CT. It’s the 88th playing of the Iron Bowl, with Alabama entering as a 13.5-point favorite and the over/under set for 47.5 as of Thursday afternoon.
The game will kickoff at 2:30 pm CT and be televised on CBS.. Brad Nessler will do the play-by-play, with Gary Danielson as the analyst and Jenny Dell as the sideline reporter.
The game will also be streaming on fuboTV.
Auburn (6-4, 3-4) enters off one of the more embarrassing losses in program history, falling to New Mexico State 31-10 one week ago. The Tigers were 25-point favorites. The loss came after Auburn won three straight SEC games against Mississippi State, Vanderbilt and Arkansas to right the ship after four straight SEC losses to start conference play.
Alabama (10-1, 7-1) enters having already clinched the SEC West division title and fighting for its place in the College Football Playoff. The Tide have won three straight in the series.
It’s Hugh Freeze ‘s first appearance in the rivalry. It’s Nick Saban ‘s 17th time. Saban is 11-5 against Auburn while the head coach at Alabama, but just 4-4 in games played inside Jordan-Hare Stadium. Freeze went 2-3 against Saban and Alabama while the head coach at Ole Miss, although the 2014 win over Alabama was later vacated.

This will be the final regular season SEC game on CBS for the time being as the current 15-year deal is coming to an end. The conference and the network struck their first exclusive TV deal in 2000. That was the birth of The SEC on CBS. The final SEC game broadcast on CBS will be the SEC Championship game in Atlanta. The final regular season SEC on CBS game will be the Iron Bowl on Saturday.
Auburn is trying to win their third Iron Bowl in four tries inside Jordan-Hare Stadium, reach seven regular season wins (exceeding most people’s expectations for Freeze’s first season), and take momentum into a bowl game. Alabama is trying to stay alive in the College Football Playoff race and win their fourth straight Iron Bowl for the first time since winning nine straight in 1973-81.
The Tigers are still seeking their 800th program win. They would be just the 13th FBS team to reach that mark all-time.
