Most obituaries published in the Reading Eagle are submitted through funeral homes and cremation services, but we will accept submissions from families. Obituaries can be emailed to .

In addition to the text of the obituary, any photographs that you wish to include can be attached to this email. The Reading Eagle also requires a way to verify the death, so please include either the phone number of the funeral home or cremation service that is in charge of the deceased's care or a photo of his/her death certificate. We also request that your full name, phone number and address are all included in this email.

All payments by families must be made with a credit card. We will send a proof of the completed obituary before we require payment. The obituary cannot run, however, until we receive payment in full.

Obituaries can be submitted for any future date, but they must be received no later than 3:00 p.m. the day prior to its running for it to be published.

Robbie Ott scored on an assist from Chase Schuler as Kutztown defeated Schuylkill Valley 1-0 in a high school boys soccer match on Saturday.

Kutztown had a 17-8 edge in shots.

Tommy McFadden scored two goals to lead Wilson to a 5-0 high school boys soccer win over Reading High on Saturday.

Nik Rohm, Gavin Cole and Alex Crouse also scored for the Bulldogs.

Chris Boyle had two assists and Liam Greth one.

Wilson goalie Dylan Mummolo had 2 saves; Reading High goalie Jondre Guzmán had 8 saves.

Conrad Weiser 5, Daniel Boone 1

Five different players scored goals as Conrad Weiser defeated Daniel Boone 5-1 on Saturday.

Cash Stout, Silas Miller, Owen Meredith, Aidyn Gorski and Parker Centeno scored for the Scouts.

Danny Boyle scored for the Blazers.

Armaan Malik, Miller and Matt Gorney had assists for Conrad Weiser, and Mason Stout had an assist for Daniel Boone.

The Scouts had a 10-2 edge in shots.

Conrad Weiser goalie Tyler Yonovick made one save, and Daniel Boone goalie Cooper Robison made five saves.

Gov. Mifflin 3, Twin Valley 2

Dylan Overly scored two goals to lead Gov. Mifflin to a 3-2 win over Twin Valley on Saturday.

Luke Shepler had the Mustangs' other goal, and Milo Baez and Josh Sanchez-Marisal had assists.

For Twin Valley, Caleb Kircher and Vinny Acinapura had goals, and Alexander Leichter had an assist.

Twin Valley goalie Aidan Miller made seven saves. Gov. Mifflin goalies Nolan O'Roorke (4) and Gavin Belz (2) combined for six saves.

Wyomissing 2, Pine Grove 1

Nate Flowers scored a goal and had an assist and Brady Kuhn scored as Wyomissing defeated Pine Grove 2-1 on Saturday.

Truman Peters also had an assist for Wyomissing.

Spartans' goalie Cole Sensenig made four saves.

Damon Seiverling scored for Pine Grove with an assist from Quincey Allen.

Brandywine Heights 4, Oley Valley 1

Zack Fratrik scored two goals as Brandywine Heights defeated Oley Valley 4-1 on Saturday.

Ian Radcliffe and Jaxton Henry also scored for Brandywine, and Carle Dimenna had an assist.

Andrew Zook scored for Oley.

Oley goalie Gryff Cappellano made four saves, and Brandywine goalie Bergen Smeltz made four saves.

Hamburg 3, Antietam 0

Noah Hasenauer, Quenten Shah and Cole McLaughlin scored goals as Hamburg defeated Antietam 3-0 on Saturday.

Caleb Atkinson had two assists and Hasenauer had one for the Hawks.

Hamburg had a 16-2 edge in shots.
