Big Brothers Big Sisters Lincoln forms Advisory Council

Big Brothers Big Sisters Lincoln has formed a new Advisory Council and welcomes its members.

Comprising community leaders and experts, the Advisory Council will work with the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands (BBBSM) Board of Directors to serve as a link between the agency's Lincoln and Omaha locations.

Joining the Advisory Council are: Kyle Cartwright, Civic Nebraska (board liaison); Dr. Karen Kassebaum, Hudl (board liaison); Stephanie Dinger, Union Bank and Trust; Elton Edmond, MentorPlus; Emily Haney, City of Lincoln; Randy Hawthorne, Filament Essential Services; Kiersten Hill, Firespring; Amy Killham, N2 Co.; Jeffrey Owusu-Ansah, Rembolt Ludtke; Valerie Perkins, Prairie Skies Dental; Veronica Riepe, University of Nebraska-Lincoln; Mark Russell, Millard Lumber; and Amanda Swenson, PureCare Carpet/Underfoot Flooring.

The Big Brothers Big Sisters Lincoln Advisory Council will bring a unique perspective to advise the BBBSM Board of Directors on strengths, assets, needs and opportunities in Lincoln related to youth services, philanthropy and corporate partnerships. In addition, the council will work to support fundraising efforts and events.
