Birmingham’s Rickwood Field hosts blues concert

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WIAT ) — The nation's oldest professional baseball park served as the backdrop for a free concert Saturday.
Hundreds of people turned out for the second annual Blues at the Ballpark. It's part of the city's Safe Summer Series and featured performances from residents of District Eight who sing blues, as was as acts like Kid Sly, Keith Johnson and Big Muddy.
City of Irondale celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month
Blues at the Ballpark was presented in a partnership with Friends of Rickwood Field and Magic City Blues Society.
