Blood Assurance giving out e-gift cards to all donors for limited time
JACKSON & DeKALB COUNTIES, Ala. (WHNT) – A non-profit blood center is giving away gift cards to every donor who gives blood, plasma, platelets and red blood cells.
Blood Assurance is a blood center that services the Scottsboro and Ft. Payne areas, and is the primary blood supplier for Highlands Medical Center.
With the holiday, their blood supply has been low, which is why Blood Assurance is offering a $20 e-gift card to all donors who give from July 4-12. Donors will also get a "United We Give" t-shirt.

All donors will receive an e-gift card, that includes those who donate plasma, platelets, red blood cells.
July historically sees an increase in traumatic accidents, leading to an increased need for blood in emergency rooms and trauma centers.
