BLOOMINGTON — A Bloomington man is sentenced to 24 months conditional discharge for a misdemeanor battery charge.
Christopher C. Lusher, 30, pleaded guilty to the offense Thursday before Judge William Yoder.
He had initially been charged with Class 3 aggravated battery with strangulation and misdemeanor domestic battery. The domestic charge was amended to simple battery, and Assistant State's Attorney Emily Young dismissed the felony after Lusher pleaded guilty.
Assistant Public Defender Mackenzie Frizzell was not able to be reached for comment after the plea.
