Boots celebrates the 'magic of beauty' with new Christmas advert starring Bridgerton star Adjoa Andoh as Mrs Claus

Boots is calling on cosmetic buffs this Christmas with the launch of their extra special 'magic of beauty' campaign.

The British health and beauty brand has unveiled a new festive advert starring Bridgerton star Adjoa Andoh as Mrs Claus, while she oversees her Christmas 'werkshop' with a few famous helpers.

In a brand new video, the actress, 61, who has played Lady Danbury in the Netflix drama since 2020, can be seen hard at work preparing a variety of glam gifts with popular TikTok influencers and Titled the 'Christmas Makeover', Boots provides a sneak peak as Mrs Claus and her esteemed warehouse workers gear up to provide beauty gifts for everyone, at every price point.

Among them include 55 newly launched beauty brands within the last year, as well as 46 seasonal gifting brands for Christmas 2024, such as setting sprays, eyeshadow palettes and lipstick by brands like E.l.f Cosmetics and No. 7.

The magic begins as a pair of blue sparky boots step onto a Christmas mat reading the words: 'home sweet ho ho home'.

Viewers are then invited into a chic penthouse room decorated with a tall Christmas tree, sparkling lights and huge bows - while father Christmas lays sprawled across a chair fast asleep.

As a woman dressed in a red Mrs Claus uniform yells 'sugarplum' at Santa, attention is drawn to the TV star who huffs and puffs before removing a pair of stylish dark glasses.

A close-up reveals Adjoa is all made up with gold eyeshadow, a swoop of liquid black eyeliner, and stunning dangling earrings; signifying Boots new 'magic of beauty' era.

She then prepares to take over Santa's shift by touching up her matte rose lipstick, before marching into her office - santa's warehouse - to the tune of Eve's 2001 smash hit 'Whos That Girl?'

Other content creators can be seen pampering themselves with hair curlers and makeup brushes while her various assistants select beauty gifts for recipients.

The drama is ramped up when halfway through the video a helper shrieks 'aggghhhhh' and notifies Mrs Claus the team has run out of bows.

Unshaken, the boss whips some up out of thin air and says: 'We are never out of bows' and places one on the final present.

She doesn't leave before reminding viewers that the magic of Christmas is achieved with the help of women too, stating: 'You thought it was all him?'.

The video ends with a massive glittering disco as all the workers come together to celebrate the special festivities.

This Christmas Boots are offering gifts with price points starting from as little as £1, and 50 percent of the seasonal gift range at £10 or less.

The brand has also introduced a new value deal titled 'Little Luxuries', offering premium beauty gift sets for £30 and under, such as the likes of Bubble and Sol de Janeiro.
