She said, "When I started fighting, everyone was like, 'Oh, she's a pretty girl. Oh, she's Muhammad Ali's daughter. Oh, she can't fight; oh, she's just in it for publicity'." However, she hit back at this criticism and skepticism for her boxing acumen with her performances inside the boxing ring. Ali then also pointed out how she did it. "I'm also a big girl. I'm a strong girl, a confident girl, and I'm very ambitious. Meaning I'm going to do the work... going to work hard... going to be disciplined," she added. Ali, along with Christy Martin, ensured women's boxing was put at the forefront when she was active. But for her, she now faces a new challenge every day in the gym.
