Boys & girls cross country Top 20s, Sept. 20: Title contenders start to surface

Two weeks of racing may be a bit early to tell who are the definitive title contenders in N.J. cross country this year. However, this past week's slate of meets certainly provided some clarity on which teams will be in the mix for county and conference championships come October. Both the boys and girls Top 20 rankings saw some notable changes as more schools began to claim divisional titles and invitational victories, with several squads making strong cases for a bump in the state rankings.
