MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) – Happy Friday everyone! You have made it through the week. We will start off this day with some cloudy conditions along the coast, as you get further inland, not it won't be as cloudy. A chilly start to the day, as we start in the upper 40s to low 50s. Clouds will continue to decrease as we go through the morning into the midday hours. It will be breezy as northwest to north northwest breezes filter into the area. That also will help push the clouds out to sea. Highs today across the forecast area will ranger from the low to mid 60s. Tonight for Football Friday Night, we will see clear skies, and a lighter breeze. That will help aid in rapid cooling across the area. Lows tonight will be in the low to mid 40s. If you are heading out to any High School football games, heavy coat, and blankets will be recommended. As we head into the weekend, the weather will be perfect, though a little cool for some. We will see sunny skies, and it will be less breezy. High temperatures on Saturday and Sunday will be in the mid to upper 60s. Overnight lows will be in the low to mid 40s. Next week, high pressure begins to move off the coast. That will allow our return flow to come from the south. We will warm back into the 70s Monday through Thursday. As we get to Tuesday and Wednesday, we will start to add a little moisture into the air, so instead of seeing completely sunny skies, we will see a few clouds here and there. Highs will range from the low to mid 70s on Monday to the Mid to Upper 70s Tuesday through Thursday. As we approach Thursday, a cold front will move into the area. That will give us our next chance of seeing a little rainfall. Behind it, much cooler weather moves in the weekend heading into Thanksgiving. Tropical Storm Sara continues to slowly move towards Central America. It is expected to make landfall and slowly move inland over the weekend. Sara could completely fall apart. If it survives land, indications in our models have Sara emerging into the Gulf of Mexico, and could move towards Florida next week. This is a volatile system, and changes to the forecast our expected to occur, so stick around and we will keep you updated.
