ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — We are warm and cloudy to kick off Friday here in Rochester. Skies will remain mostly cloudy throughout the morning hours. The interesting fact is as we get into the afternoon hours, if you find yourself west of Rochester, you will be more likely to see cloudy skies. However, if you are east of Rochester, you are more likely to skies clearing. Temperatures will gradually rise into the upper 40s, potentially kissing the 50° mark. Skies will remain partly cloudy heading into the overnight hours, allowing for temperatures to stay on the warmer side.

Skies will remain mixed for the early morning hours on Saturday, but eventually, will see those skies clear. Temperatures will climb back up into the low 50s. Clouds start to move back into the area early Sunday morning. While skies will remain cloudy for much of the day, little to no rain is expected. Temperatures will, again, rise back up into the low 50s. For those of you heading to Orchard Park, it will be a generally mild and quiet evening. Skies will stay cloudy heading into the overnight hours.

Scattered rain showers will move back into the area for Monday. When it's not actively raining, you can expect clouds to dominate our skies. Temperatures will remain in the low 50s for highs. Scattered showers look to clear out of the area for Tuesday, but the clouds still look to hold on. Temperatures again will rise into the low 50s.

Wet weather looks to re-enter by the middle of the week. Scattered rain showers look to impact the area for both Wednesday and Thursday. Early trends are showing that we could see a mixture of rain and snow impact the area Thursday night and into Friday. There is still so much time between now and then, so that also means that the forecast could also change a whole bunch before then.
