Bronny James Catches Stray from Pistons Fans Amid Lakers’ Struggles at Little Caesars

After establishing a 4-2 record in the regular season, the Los Angeles Lakers once again seem to be heading for a loss. Not just again any franchise, but the Detroit Pistons! The same Pistons who had ended as the last seed on the points chart in two consecutive seasons. As a result, a wave of excitement would have certainly spread amongst the Pistons fans making the bulk of attendance at the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit. After all, there could have been nothing else but a surge of confidence that would have compelled them to take an unwarranted shot at Bronny James.

By the time a challenge stoppage had been called during the late stage of the 3 quarter, the Pistons had an 8-point lead over their rivals. 'The Athletic' reporter Jovan Buha, who may have been present in the arena to cover the game live, immediately took to X to reveal how the crowd had begun chanting "We want Bronny!" While LeBron James managed to have over 30 minutes of playtime, his son is yet to get on the court. It is important to note that since the crowd would have been made up of a bulk of Pistons fans, they would not have been calling upon Bronny to give the Lakers an advantage. Therefore, the question that needs to be asked is: Why are they calling for him?

It is no secret that the 20-year-old continues to struggle during the early stages of his rookie season. In his 3 regular season appearances, Bronny has only averaged 0.7 points, 0.3 rebounds, and 0.7 assists.

This is a developing story.
