Busy Bee Baking Co. holding annual charity Thanksgiving Bake Sale

Busy Bee Baking Co. in Omaha has launched its annual Thanksgiving Bake Sale for charity.

Owner Jodi Jefferson announced Thursday that MSForward of Omaha will be the nonprofit beneficiary of all sales in the special event. The organization, established in 2010, serves people with multiple sclerosis, ataxia, Parkinson's disease, lewy body dementia, Down's syndrome, autism and other disabilities, including those caused by strokes.

Jefferson said she studied several charities and determined that MSForward "makes a meaningful difference in peoples' lives throughout their journey and is working to grow their membership base."

She will accept orders from now through Nov. 21. Available products and prices are:

• Pumpkin pie, $30

• Southern bourbon pecan pie, $30

• Bread pudding with pecan praline sauce, $45

• 1 dozen carrot cake cupcakes, $36

• 1 dozen pumpkin whoopie pies, $36.

All orders will be available for pickup or delivery on Nov. 27. Payment will be collected at that time, and cash, check or Venmo will be accepted.
