Caleb Wilson had a great seat for Kentucky's win over Duke: 'someone is in the house…'

Kentucky already appeared to be the frontrunner for five-star power forward Caleb Wilson . But him watching the Wildcats beat No. 6 Duke in-person certainly won't hurt their chances.

Wilson, ranked No. 5 overall in the class of 2025, was sitting in the lower level of State Farm Arena in Atlanta on Tuesday night to take in Kentucky's 77-72 upset win over the Blue Devils at the Champions Classic. Almost immediately after the game, Wilson fired off a tweet that simply read "someone is in the house..." with a crying laughing emoji attached to the end. It was a clear reference to the "Who's in the house tonight? UK!" chant that has become synonymous with head coach Mark Pope .

Does this mean for sure that the 6-foot-9 Wilson will ultimately commit to Kentucky? Not necessarily. But this feels like more than just a cryptic post on social media. This feels intentional.

KSR's Jack Pilgrim actually caught up with Wilson earlier on Tuesday. Wilson is a native of Atlanta and plays high school ball at Holy Innocents Episcopal School , so it was an easy pitstop en route to the main attraction of UK-Duke later in the night. The two talked recruiting for nearly 30 minutes.

Wilson discussed a decision timeline, which is expected to come as late as January. He confirmed that an official visit to Arkansas for this weekend is still locked in and a list cut is coming sooner rather than later. Wilson going to see John Calipari for a visit a few days after his former team won in the Champions Classic, an event Calipari had lost four straight at, is beautiful poetry.

Pope was already cooking on the recruiting trail with three commits on the board, but now with a high-profile win under his belt, he could be on the verge of adding a fourth.
