The California State University system will host a College Night event in Pasadena, offering guidance on how students can graduate with little to no debt. The free event, scheduled for Tuesday evening, Sept. 24, at the Pasadena Convention Center, targets high school and community college students, as well as returning and adult learners.

Representatives from all 23 California State University campuses will be at the Pasadena Convention Center, located at 300 E. Green St., to meet with prospective students.

The event, running from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., is designed to introduce attendees to the California State University system and provide information on preparing for college.

This College Night is an excellent opportunity for prospective students and their families to explore the possibilities offered by the CSU system.

Attendees will receive information on admissions requirements, degree programs, and financial aid options. The event will also feature breakout sessions covering topics such as the application process and career planning.

Parents, guardians, family members, and educators are encouraged to attend to support students. The California State University system, the largest public university network in the United States, enrolls over 457,000 students across its campuses.

While registration is not mandatory, organizers encourage advance sign-ups at www.calstate.edu/collegenights to assist with planning. Parking at the convention center will be available for $15.

The Pasadena College Night is part of a series of five events being held across California, with additional locations including Fresno, Rohnert Park, Santa Clara, and San Diego.
