If you're lucky enough to love your job, you know how much it matters to work for a company that offers competitive pay, a collaborative environment, and a supportive, friendly culture. Many such companies can be found across New Jersey, and now they have the opportunity to be recognized.

The 2025 Top Workplaces program is open, giving companies the chance to showcase what sets them apart. Earning this prestigious honor signals to current and future employees that they are truly valued. Don't miss the chance to be recognized for fostering an exceptional workplace — apply today.

The nomination process is now open for the 2025 New Jersey Top Workplaces awards, offering a chance for organizations to earn this highly sought-after recognition. Any New Jersey-based organization with 50 or more employees — whether public, private, nonprofit, government, or school — is eligible to participate. Companies have until Oct. 25 to submit their entries, and there is no cost to nominate your workplace. Don't miss this opportunity to highlight what makes your organization stand out.

To earn a Top Workplaces designation, participating employers agree to have their employees surveyed by Energage , the Pennsylvania-based research partner for the program. Through a 25-question survey that takes about five minutes to complete, employees provide valuable insights on various aspects of their workplace, including organizational culture, opportunities for professional growth, benefits, and compensation. This feedback helps determine which companies truly stand out as exceptional places to work.

Energage conducts Top Workplaces surveys for media in 65 markets nationwide and surveyed more than 2 million employees at more than 8,000 organizations in the past year.

In the 2024 Top Workplaces program , Energage invited more than 7,000 New Jersey organizations to participate, surveyed 138 organizations, invited 51,878 employees to participate, and received feedback from 25,379 respondents, ultimately recognizing 150 winners. Based on employee survey feedback, 98 employers earned recognition as Top Workplaces.

This year marks the seventh time New Jersey companies have taken part in the program, highlighting the state's commitment to fostering outstanding workplace environments.

"Top Workplaces awards are a celebration of good news," said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. "They exemplify the significance of a people-first workplace experience, reminding us that employees are the heart of any thriving organization."

The program also is an excellent way for companies and organizations to raise their public profile. Winners can use the Top Workplaces logo on company materials and websites, while also receiving public recognition through three of New Jersey's largest media outlets — NJ.com , Jersey's Best and The Star-Ledger.
