CamTran provides update on Johnstown Inclined Plane project

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WTAJ) — CamTran has released an update on the Johnstown Inclined Plane Rehabilitation Project.

After months of investigation done by an independent contractor, along with coordination with state safety oversight, a change directive has been issued. The directive stated that the sheave wheels will be removed, repaired and installed.

The project is now reported to be 92% complete, with safety remaining the highest priority during the continuation of the rehabilitation.
