Canton officers enter not guilty pleas in Frank Tyson death
CANTON, Ohio (WJW) – Two Canton police officers accused of causing the death of a man in their custody are scheduled for arraignment Friday morning.
Beau Schoenegge and Camden Burch were taken into custody last week after a grand jury indicted them on reckless homicide charges.

The two officers were the first to respond to a 911 call involving Frank Tyson on the night of April 18.
Tyson had crashed his car outside of the Ohio AMVETS post in Sherrick Road in Canton.
The 53-year-old walked into the AMVETS Hall without permission and refused to leave.
Police body camera video shows the confrontation that followed.
When Schoenegge and Burch arrived, there was a scuffle.

The officers wrestled Tyson to the ground.
One knelt on his upper back for about 30 seconds while he was placed in handcuffs.
On the video , Tyson can be heard telling them, "I can't breathe."
After about 8 minutes, they realized Tyson was not breathing and they started CPR.
Tyson was pronounced dead at the hospital.
A conviction could mean 3 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
FOX 8 has learned the officers are not expected to appear in court and a not-guilty plea will be entered on their behalf.
