Car Crash in Trenton Kills Two Men

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - Two men were killed in a car crash just outside of Trenton Saturday afternoon.

Florida highway patrol troopers say a 43-year-old from Fanning Springs and another man from the UK were driving down CR-307 just before 4:30 p.m.

They say the driver didn't stop at the stop sign on State Road 26, and a truck towing a boat smashed into the side of their car.

Both men were killed in that crash. Neither of them were wearing seatbelts.

The four occupants of the truck suffered minor injuries.
