Carol married her best friend for life, Frank, on August 19, 1961, and they raised three sons in Culver until moving in 2001 to Cloquet to be closer to family. Carol was a dedicated USPS employee for over 25 years, in Alborn, Culver, Cloquet and in Duluth until her retirement in 2002.
