Cayuga County, Auburn law enforcement leaders to speak at community event

Three Cayuga County law enforcement leaders will speak and take questions at a community event later this month.

Auburn Police Department Chief James Slayton, Cayuga County Sheriff Brian Schenck and Cayuga County District Attorney Brittany Grome Antonacci will give presentations at the event, which will take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, at the Booker T. Washington Community Center, 23 Chapman Ave., Auburn. The event is hosted by the Harriet Tubman Center for Justice and Peace.

A community Q&A and discussion will follow the presentations.

The event is free and open to the public.
