Celebrating National Philanthropy Day with Vita Living
HOUSTON (KIAH)– Tomorrow marks National Philanthropy Day and it's a day to celebrate the charitable work we put into our communities every day.
Vita Living is a non-profit that serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Richard Graber is the Chief Development Officer with Vita Living and he says there are plenty of ways to help. He says you can support organizations like Vita Living by volunteering and of course in-kind or monetary donations. Vita Living supports over 400 individuals through specialized programs including an activity center, group home placements and case management.
The community has supported Vita Living in many ways including it's most recent 10th Annual Clays for Care Sporting Classic where the they raised over $66,000 to continue supporting its mission.
