Chambersburg slasher hospitalizes victim
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — One person was hospitalized after a Chambersburg man allegedly slashed them with a knife during a fight early Thursday morning, according to the Chambersburg Police Department.
Police said at 1:19 a.m., officers responded to the 200 block of East King Street for an assault. Upon arrival at the scene, police say they found a victim who had been slashed with a knife across their abdomen during a fight.

The victim was transported to a Chambersburg hospital for treatment. Their current condition is unknown.
During their investigation, police identified Rogelio Ramirez-Perez, 35, as the attacker. Ramirez-Perez was located at the scene and taken into custody before being transported to Franklin County jail.
According to court documents, Ramirez-Perez was charged with aggravated assault and simple assault. He was denied bail and is awaiting a preliminary hearing.
