Million Manhoef broke the deadlock after the break for the Potters and Johansson made a series of superb saves before Cannon's 85th-minute penalty made the game safe. Stoke move up to 14th in the table, one point behind 10th-placed Rovers. Japhet Tanganga fired in-form Millwall to a 1-0 win over Leeds in the Sky Bet Championship to move the Lions up to fifth. The defender struck in the 40th minute to secure a fourth consecutive 1-0 win for Neil Harris' side and hand Leeds just their second loss of the season. Defeat means third-placed Leeds missed the opportunity to pile the pressure on league leaders Sunderland, who were held to a goalless draw by Preston. Jerry Yates starred as Derby earned their first away win by beating Coventry 2-1. Yates scored the opener after 11 minutes and his strike after the break deflected in off Bobby Thomas. The Rams withstood a potential late comeback from the Sky Blues after they pulled one back through Tatsuhiro Sakamoto. Luton moved out of the relegation zone after Jacob Brown's goal earned a 1-0 win over Cardiff.
