Charles County house raid leads to three arrests for firearms and fireworks

C.Nguyen1 days ago

A search warrant was served to the Charles County house that had been the source of numerous neighbors' complaints — and it resulted in the Charles County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) arresting three people concerning a shooting and illegal fireworks possession.

On July 4, CCSO officers searched the 11200 block of Thackeray Lane in White Plains, Maryland, a property they believed was connected to a shooting on Argyle Avenue in Waldorf.

In June, someone shot several rounds at the Argyle Avenue house, one of which grazed a woman who was inside, according to police. Police believe the shooting followed an argument over a stolen cell phone.

Spencer Moore, Jenboi Moore, and Stephan Jacari Williams were all arrested after the search.

Spencer Moore, 20, of White Plains, was charged with first-degree burglary, six counts of first-degree assault, and six counts of reckless endangerment.

Jenboi Moore, 19, also of White Plains, was charged with attempted first-degree burglary, six counts of first-degree assault, six counts of reckless endangerment, and assault in connection with spitting on the detective.

Williams, 19, of Forestville, was charged with illegal possession of firearms. Williams is prohibited from possessing firearms.

The Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office also confiscated several cases of fireworks. They charged Spencer Moore for illegal possession of regulated fireworks.
