Chicago Bears at Minnesota Vikings: Interim injury reports
J.Lee3 months ago
It’s Friday and we’re going to be waiting for Monday Night Football, so it’s time for the second injury reports of the week for the Chicago Bears and your Minnesota Vikings . Have there been any significant changes to the reports to this point? Let’s take a look and find out. Chicago BearsDid Not Participate G Larry Borom (illness) LB Noah Sewell (knee)Limited Participation RB D’Onta Foreman (ankle/shin, from DNP on Thursday)Full Participation FB Khari Blasingame (shoulder) OL Lucas Patrick (back, from DNP on Thursday) A couple of changes for the Bears on Friday’s report as Foreman and Patrick returned to practice in some capacity. That’s a good sign for Patrick, who is listed as the starting center for the Bears. Foreman is currently listed as Chicago’s top running back as well. The Bears also gave tight end Marcedes Lewis a day of rest on Friday because he’s approximately 206 years old. Minnesota VikingsDid Not Participate No players listedLimited Participation CB Akayleb Evans (calf) TE T.J. Hockenson (ribs) WR Justin Jefferson (hamstring)Full Participation LB Brian Asamoah II (ankle) QB Jaren Hall (concussion) QB Nick Mullens (back) No changes for the Vikings on Friday’s injury report. Jefferson continues to be listed as questionable but all of the signs are pointing towards him missing another game on Monday night. As we’ve seen with Hockenson over the past couple of weeks the team is simply being cautious with his rib injury. There’s no reason to think he won’t be out there on Monday night. Hopefully Evans will come back as well after having to miss the Denver game. At this point there hasn’t been any indication as to who will serve as the backup to Josh Dobbs if both Hall and Mullens are available. One of them will end up being the emergency quarterback and not be able to play unless the first two quarterbacks are injured. I’d like to see them put Hall in that spot but that’s just me. Those are your interim injury reports for the Vikings and the Bears, folks. We’ll have the final injury reports when they come out tomorrow.
