Cincinnati weather: Cool, dry weekend ahead; snowflakes possible next week

A cloudy and cool weekend is in store for the Greater Cincinnati area.

According to the National Weather Service in Wilmington , a few showers or patches of drizzle will move through the region Friday morning. Then, cloudy skies can be expected throughout the rest of the day.

Friday will remain seasonably cool with highs in the lower to mid-50s.

Cloudy skies are forecast overnight through the first half of Saturday. Nighttime lows will drop to the lower 40s. Highs on Saturday will range from the lower to mid-50s.

Dry conditions are expected Saturday night and Sunday.

An unsettled weather pattern will begin to develop Monday night and persist through the remainder of the week. Several days of precipitation and gusty winds may occur. A pattern shift will occur during this time and may even lead to the potential for some snowflakes by mid-week.
