Cleveland APL reducing adoption fees Saturday in Sweater Weather flash adoption special

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland Animal Protective League will be offering reduced adoption fees on Saturday for its Sweater Weather flash adoption special.

Fees for adult dogs and cats will be just $10 and kittens will cost $50. Cuyahoga County residents are required to purchase an annual dog license, which will be added to the adoption fee.

All adoptions include spay/neuter surgery, initial vaccinations, flea and worm treatments (if needed), microchipping for cats and dogs and a post-adoption health exam at a partner veterinarian within two weeks.

To adopt from the Cleveland APL , individuals must be at least 18 years old and provide a valid driver's license or state-issued identification. Potential adopters who visit the facility will meet with staff to ask questions and learn about the animal's history, needs and care requirements. A meet and greet with the animal is also part of the adoption process.
