Colchester man dies in mail truck crash

The Colchester Police Department believes a medical emergency is likely to blame for a deadly crash .
The incident took place just off of Shore Acres Drive. Douglas Loso, 56, of Colchester was driving south at 12:00 noon Sunday in a U.S. Postal Service mail truck. Investigators say he slowly drifted off the roadway into a wooded area and struck several trees.
When first responders arrived at the crash scene, they say Loso was unconscious and was not breathing. He died at University of Vermont Medical Center.
