Colorado Springs police cruiser involved in a crash

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - No one was injured after a police cruiser and civilian vehicle collided at a busy intersection Monday evening. Calling the crash "minor," a CSPD lieutenant said the collision happened at North Carefree Circle and Tutt Boulevard just after 6 p.m. Neither car had substantial damage, and both were able to be driven from the scene. Police are still investigating what caused the crash and have not said which driver was at fault. It's also unclear if the officer was heading to a call at the time and whether they had their lights and sirens on. We'll update this if more information is released.
