The congresswoman in August also launcheda fundraiser to support an Italian boxer who abandoned an Olympic match after 46 seconds.Angela Carini faced Imane Khelif of Algeria, who qualified to compete in the Paris Olympic Games after being disqualified from the 2023 International Boxing Association finals due to not meeting the organization's eligibility requirements.

Rep. Boebert said the goal of the fundraiser was to raise "what Angela would have made from a gold medal."
