Teen Glowforge Project at Natrona County Library: Teens will be able to create 3D floral skull pumpkin decorations at 4 p.m., Thursday. Registration is required.

Young Frankenstein at Casper College: Casper College will perform the Mel Brooks musical "Young Frankenstein" from Thursday to Sunday. Tickets can be purchased online.

Cirque Italia's Water Show: From Thursday to Sunday, under the big top at Eastridge Mall in Casper with various show times, Cirque Italia will put on their unique show with a custom water stage. Buy tickets online.

The Woman in Black at Stage III: the community theatre will be performing their show "The Woman in Black" from Friday to Sunday with various times for shows. Buy tickets online.

For the love of... camping: Casper Theater Company is putting on "For the Love of... Camping" from Friday to Sunday with various show times. Buy your tickets online.

Save Halloween: A Folk Experience: Experience ancient and vintage Halloween traditions at the Isaak Walton Clubhouse on Friday and Saturday. There is a family friendly show at 6 p.m. and the regular show at 9 p.m.

Messy StoryTime at Natrona County Library: This month's Messy StoryTime will feature monster snot! The read-aloud and activity will start at 10 a.m., Friday.

Hook and Needle Stitching Club at Natrona County Library: No matter what type of stitching craft you are in to, you can join others in the community to work on your projects together at 2 p.m., Friday.

Trunk or Treat Benefit: The Oil Capital Auto Club is hosting a trunk or treat from 4:40 to 7:30 p.m., Saturday. They will also be accepting donations for Wyoming Food for Thought. The Casper Ghostbusters will be at this event.

Queen Tribute at The Rialto: Fat Bottom Boys will perform a tribute to Queen at 8 p.m., Friday.

Living Room Conversation at The Bourgeois Pig: Come together to talk about building community after an election. Register online for this event at 10 a.m., Saturday.

Wyoming State Marching Band Festival: Twenty-two high school marching bands from across the state will perform on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Ford Wyoming Center.

Afternoon Book Club at Metro Coffee: This month, the Afternoon Book Club will read and discuss "Skulduggery Pleasant" by Derek Landy at 2 p.m., Saturday. Pick up a copy of the book at the library.

Halloween Cardmaking Workshop at Natrona County Library: Make some spooky Halloween greeting cards at this library event for adults at 2 p.m., Saturday. Supplies will be provided. Registration is required.

Roller Derby Bout at Wagon Wheel Roller Skating Rink: The A'Salt Creek Roller Derby Team is hosting a mixer at 7 p.m., Saturday. The two teams, Vampires and Zombies, will each be made up of skaters from across the state.

Murder Mystery Dinner at The Rialto: This Halloween special murder mystery dinner costs $80 per person. Spend the night trying to determine who committed a murder at the Billionaires' Club Annual Masquerade Ball on Saturday. Event starts at 5 p.m.

Week of Oct. 21

Take and Make for Kids and Tweens at Natrona County Library: Grab a craft kit to make paper plate monsters starting Oct. 21 while supplies last.

Glowforge Project at Natrona County Library: Register for this event to create a haunted house snow globe using the Glowforge laser cutter at 2 p.m., Oct. 21.

Tween Monday at Natrona County Library: Students in fourth to sixth grade can make Halloween candy pots at 4 p.m., Oct. 21.

Author Talk at Natrona County Library: Lori Gottlieb will talk about her book "Maybe You Should Talk to Someone" and the truths and fictions we tell ourselves. Her event will be at noon, Oct. 22

Steve "Mudflap" McGrew at The Rialto: Head down to The Rialto at 7 p.m., Oct. 25 to see stand-up comic Steve McGrew perform.

Inda Eaton at The Lyric: Inda Eaton will perform her production "Free to Roam" at 7:30 p.m., Oct. 25. The show will consist of melodies, story telling and comedy.

Spooky StoryTime at Natrona County Library: Dress up for this read-aloud event on Halloween weekend. The event starts at 10 a.m., Oct. 26.

The Burroughs' Halloween Extravaganza and Costume Party at The Rialto: This nine-man band will bring their "sweaty soul music" to Casper on Oct. 26. The event starts at 8 p.m.

Halloween Carnival at David Street Station: From dance lessons to Halloween-themed games, the Halloween Carnival is set to be a blast. Remember to wear your costumes and come get some candy at 12 p.m., Oct. 26.

Zack Scott at Frontier Brewing: Wyoming native and country western artist Zack Scott will perform at Frontier Brewing at 6 p.m., Oct. 26. The Hangry Dog Food Truck will be set up to sell food.

Trick or Treat at Oil City Axe Company: Kids will get a chance to trick or treat through the haunted house with the lights on so they can see how it was all put together. The event is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Oct. 27.

Week of Oct. 28

Take and Make for Kids and Tweens: Grab the supplies to make an accordion bat starting Oct. 28 while supplies last.

Teen Zone Spooky Movie Marathon at Natrona County Library: All day on Oct. 28, the library will be playing spooky movies in the Teen Zone.

Movie and Craft at Natrona County Library: From 1-3 p.m., students in kindergarten to sixth grade are invited to watch a movie and create a craft project on Oct. 28. Snacks will be provided.

Tween Book Club at Natrona County Library: This month, the Tween Book Club will be reading "The Curious Vanishing of Beatrice Willoughby" by G.Z. Schmidt. Pick up a free copy of the book at the library. The club will meet at 4 p.m., Oct. 28.

Natrona County School Board Meeting: The Board of Trustees for the Natrona County School District will meet Oct. 28. The time and location will be released closer to the date.

Blood Drive at Natrona County Library: From 1 to 4 p.m., Oct. 29, Vitalant will host a blood drive at the library. Appointments are encouraged but not necessary.

Teen Book Club at Metro Coffee: The Teen Book Club will be discussing "Stalking Jack the Ripper" by Kerri Maniscalco. The club will meet at 6 p.m., Oct. 29.

Spooktacular Halloween Party at Natrona County Library: Students in kindergarten to sixth grade are invited to a Halloween party at the library at 4 p.m., Oct. 30.

Beginner Sewing Project at Natrona County Library: New sewers are invited to the library at 5 p.m., Oct. 30 to make a playing card holder. Registration is required for this event.

Ben Roy at The Rialto: Stand-up comedian Ben Roy is performing at The Rialto on Nov. 1 and 2. Buy tickets online.

Great American PRCA Rodeo at Casper Fairgrounds: The Central Wyoming Fair and Rodeo grounds will host the PRCA rodeo on Nov. 2. Tickets can be purchased in advance online.

Week of Nov. 4

Louis J. Gomez at The Rialto: Stand-up comedian Louis J. Gonzales will perform at The Rialto at 7 p.m., Nov. 7. While he is well known for his podcast, he has also appeared on NBC and Comedy Central. Tickets can be purchased online.

Duo Two Accordions at The Lyric: This father and daughter pair are both accordion champions in competitions across the globe. They will perform together at 7:30 p.m., Nov. 7.

Ongoing events

Museums and education centers: With 12 different museums and education centers around Casper, parents can balance having fun with a little education. All 12 locations are deemed kid-friendly, and some even have free admission. Go to visitcasper.com for more information.

Movies theaters: Studio City has two locations in town. Both locations offer reclining chairs and buttery popcorn to see the hottest new flicks or a rerun of a classic.

Ice Skating: Whether you're looking for an open skate session, figure skating lessons or a hockey team, Casper Ice Arena has you covered. See website for schedule details.

Natrona County Library: Not only is the library a great place to explore a love of reading, but it also has various activities every week. From take-home arts and crafts to story times, the library has something for all age groups. You can even borrow state park passes. The main library is open every day except Sunday. Visit the library website for a calendar of events.

Casper Planetarium: Head over to the planetarium to explore the sky and all it has to offer. The planetarium offers different shows and events each month. They offer public shows every Tuesday to Friday at 4 p.m. and the first three Saturdays of the month at 7 p.m.

Historic Bishop Home: Visit the only historic house museum. Walk through time in this house and learn about how Casper was developed. The Historic Bishop Home is open every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Wagon Wheel Roller Skating Rink: The Wagon Wheel Roller Skating Rink has transitioned into the fall/winter/spring hours. They are now open Friday-Sunday. Check out their website for more information.

Out of Town Events

Halloween Night at the Museum in Lander: The Pioneer Museum is hosting a two-night event on Friday and Saturday. From story telling to roasting marshmallows, there will be many events to stay busy. The evnt is from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. each night.

Spooky Season Craft and Vendor Show in Burns: Over 65 vendors will be selling their wares from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m, Oct. 26. There will be complimentary kids activities, coffee and popcorn bags. The craft show will be on S. Main Street, Burns, Wyoming.

Trunk or Treat Cheyenne: The Cheyenne Police Department is putting on a trunk or treat at 5 p.m., Oct. 30 at the Cheyenne Public Safety Center. Bring your costumes to gather candy, dance to the DJ and meet police officer, the K9 unit and SWAT officers.
