Cool temperatures to give way to Spring-like warmth, sunshine
The weekend will start off cool but steadily heat up as temperatures in the region are expected to push 60 degrees Saturday.
Don’t be discouraged by some early cloud cover. The high Saturday is expected to reach 58 degrees with clear skies and plenty of sunshine on tap to kick off the weekend, according to the National Weather Service. Friday’s bout of blustery winds won’t carry over into Saturday, as winds are expected to be calm.
A low of 36 degrees is expected overnight.
Plan for Sunday to again be mild with clouds and sunshine and temperatures as high as 60 degrees. A 50 percent chance of rain lurks Sunday night. The low will be around 42.
An 80 percent chance of rain exists Monday morning and most of the day. The high will be around 54. Expect temperatures to drop to a low of around 34 degrees.
