PROCTER & GAMBLE CO.: Charles B. O’Hara of Dallas has been named plant
public relations manager, replacing Joseph G. DeMarco, who is retiring from
the company after 30 years service.
atricia Machulsky of the Scranton-based
firm has passed the National Association of Securities Dealers Examination to
become a licensed registered representative (Series 7).PHI DELTA KAPPA: The
Wilkes University chapter has inducted 13 members into the international
professional association for men and women in education.
The new members are Gene Camoni, Adam Chweij, Elizabeth Davis, John Fender,
Martin Gabel, Thomas Gazowski, Ruth Krakosky, Ella Karassik, Gary Mack, Lynn
Makar, Ann Roman, Ann Marie Stiliha and Wendy Vinsko.
Raymond Montoni, chapter vice president, presented the winner of the Eugene
Hammer Scholarship, Jamie Sienko, a student at College Misericordia.
Montoni also gave awards to high school seniors Diana Lukeski of the
Southern Columbia Area School District and Zachary Lukashefski of the

board.
O’Hara is a graduate of Lafayette College, where he earned a bachelor’s
degree in civil engineering. He also holds a master’s of business
administration from the University of Scranton.
He has been employed with Procter & Gamble at the Mehoopany facility since
June 1975. He held positions in pulp-making, environmental control and energy
affairs.
