Country icon Dolly Parton sends the crowd wild in Dallas as she performs NFL Thanksgiving halftime show of the Commanders-Cowboys game

Country singer Dolly Parton was the latest name to perform at halftime for the NFL's three Thanksgiving games this year. The 77-year-old took to center stage at the break of Thursday's game between the Washington Commanders and Dallas Cowboys . Earlier in the day, fans were left unimpressed with Jack Harlow's gig during halftime of the Green Bay Packers ' upset win over rivals, the Detroit Lions .
To round out America's most celebrate holiday of the fall, DJ Steve Aoki will perform during halftime of the late-night matchup between the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers . 'As fans come together for Thanksgiving, we're excited to work with our clubs and broadcast partners to bring some of the biggest names in music to NFL stages throughout the day,' said Seth Dudowsky, NFL's head of music, upon the release of this year's NFL Thanksgiving lineup. The Commanders-Cowboys rivalry has been a common matchup on Thanksgiving, as it has been played 10 previous times. Dallas won eight of those games. The most recent turkey-day game between both NFC teams was a 41-16 win for Washington in 2020.
