Countryfile viewers seriously distracted by BBC host Anita Rani's outfit - swiping 'who the hell dressed her?!'

Countryfile fans were left bewildered by host Anita Rani 's recent 'wild' outfit while presenting the show.

The Bradford-born star, 46, was questioned about her ensemble choice as she presented a segment on hedgehog rescues on the coast of Anglesey in Wales.

As the host recommended poorly hogs be put in a box with a hot water bottle to keep them warm and was busy chatting to experts, fans instead were distracted by something else.

In a visible attempt to bundle up against the chilly and windy weather, Anita was seen wrapping up in multiple jackets.

She sported a beige raincoat with a buttoned-up denim jacket underneath, adding a thick woollen scarf around her neck - yet it didn't seem enough to protect her from the cold.

Underneath the denim garment, Anita also wore black puffer vest, on top of an orange hoodie - tucking her hands inside the vest.

Viewers were left perplexed and raced to X - formerly Twitter - to comment the 'unusual' look of Anita, writing:

'Who the hell dressed Anita? #countryfile';

'I actually can't decide how many coats she's wearing. Is it three? Or two?'

'What is the #Countryfile presenter wearing? I actually love it but nothing matches haha!';

'Far out Anita!'

Earlier this month, Countryfile viewers were left seriously distracted by a star's appearance as they fumed 'make your mind up!' just minutes into the latest episode.

Presenters Matt Baker and Charlotte Smith explored Salisbury Plain.

The show hosts visited the area, which is one of Britain's most expansive military training zones, to investigate the synergy the Ministry of Defence maintains with the terrain under its supervision.

With special authorisation, they explored the Ministry's approach to agricultural and environmental conservation efforts.

But when Charlotte spoke to Warrant Officer Class 1 Jeff Elson, viewers were left baffled by his choice of clothing.

Appearing on TV, the WO1 opted to wear a military camouflaged uniform which he paired with a hi-vis vest.

Flocking to social media, viewers of the show shared how the outfit choice left them baffled and confused.

One penned: 'Make your mind up! Do you want to be seen or not? #countryfile'

'Soldier on countryfile wearing camouflage gear under a Hi Vis vest.'

'Solider wearing camouflage and Hi Vis vest.'

'Can't get my head around this soldier's get-up on Countryfile.'

The confusing scenes came just a week after fans slammed the show for their 'sad and terrible' slaughter scenes.

Viewers branded Adam Henson 'mealy-mouthed' for glossing over animal deaths.
