Hollywood star Simon Baker has rekindled his romance with his secret Sydney girlfriend - who is younger than his own daughter.

Daily Mail Australia can reveal Baker, 55, has hooked up again with lover Bridgette Clark, 30, after the couple took a brief break from their relationship.

The north Bondi local is several months younger than Baker's daughter, Stella, who turned 31 in August.

The slight blonde originally hails from Melbourne and is a popular fashion and lifestyle photographer.

She is also the co-founder and creative director of Terry, a resort-wear label inspired by 'European summers and 70s poolside attire'.

She has been dating the actor - who hit fame with US TV show The Mentalist and more recently starred in the hit Netflix drama Boy Swallows Universe - on and off for the last two years.

The couple had a brief hiatus over winter but the were seen reunited earlier this month as they moved furniture into Baker's Volvo van at his home in Tamarama in Sydney 's east.

They were first spotted together at Tamarama Beach in November 2022 and were later seen with Baker's sons - Claude, 25, and Harry, 23 - during an Easter trip to Byron Bay last year.

The loved-up actor was seen chasing Clark before they playfully jumped into the surf together.

Last October the pair stepped out in all-white matching outfits in Tamarama and were walking arm-in-arm to a local café for a bite to eat and a coffee.

Baker's relationship with Clark began the year after announcing his divorce from Australian actress Rebecca Rigg, star of A Country Practice, Blue Heelers and LA Doctors.

Baker was with Rigg for 29 years, including 22 years married, while they lived in Los Angeles from 1995 until 2015, before returning to Sydney and later announcing their divorce in January 2021.

'We remain close friends and our three children will always be the most important focus of our lives,' they said in a joint statement at the time.

The couple played love interests on the popular '90 TV series E Street, although they actually met on a blind date in 1991.

In 1998, they made it official with two separate wedding ceremonies – one in Australia and the other in the beachside region of Carmel in Monterey, California.

Earlier this month, Baker appeared at the Mullumbimby Local Court in northern New South Wales, where he admitted to drunk driving in an incident on July 20. He was released on a nine-month good behaviour bond with no conviction recorded.

Baker, who was driving a Tesla, was seen driving erratically by police for around 8km on Booyong Road, near to his second property, about 2.11am, the court was told.

Magistrate Kathy Crittenden said there were 'unusual' circumstances at the time of the incident, with a worldwide Microsoft outage ensuring police systems were offline and a breath test could not be completed.

'Ordinarily, police would've proceeded with a breath analysis but they had to use the old-fashioned sobriety test,' Magistrate Crittenden said.

Baker was observed to be unsteady on his feet and smelt of alcohol, telling officers he had consumed four glasses of wine at a dinner from 6pm.

'(Baker) was very polite and co-operative ... extremely remorseful for his actions,' Magistrate Crittenden said.

He has since completed a certificate in a traffic offenders rehabilitation program, the court was told.

The magistrate said four character references had been tendered to the court about Baker's community contributions, significant remorse and his conduct being out of character.

Clark and Baker did not respond to request for comment.
