Local fosters look for perfect family to adopt bonded pair of chihuahuas

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - Kristen Saibini is the owner of Peanut, the local doggy-influencer with over 72K followers on Instagram. It was through his account, which helps raise awareness for fostering and adopting animals, that Saibini and her partner, Katelyn Floyd, found two foster dogs from Las Vegas in need of a forever family.

The Las Vegas nonprofit, Retired to Rescue, took in the animals after they were surrendered when their owner lost her home. They had been boarded at a vet's office since June and were sadly getting no interest. Now they're in Reno hoping the perfect family is here in Northern Nevada.

They are a bonded pair of senior chihuahua meaning they will need to be adopted together. Nacho (male, 11 years old, 9 pounds) and Nilla (female, 9 years old, 13 pounds) and are very sweet, good dogs. Nacho was a former stud breeder dog and Nilla was previously part of a hoarding case in Las Vegas.
