County Executive Olszewski, Department of Aging release final Age-Friendly Baltimore County report
TOWSON, MD—Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski and the Department of Aging on Wednesday announced the release of a report detailing the actions taken to make the County an Age-Friendly Community that reflects the growing older adult population and prioritizes their care and quality of life.
The Age-Friendly Baltimore County report (PDF) highlights Baltimore County's strategic efforts from 2021 through 2024 to improve key aspects of livability, including housing, transportation, community health services, outdoor spaces, and communication.
"We are committed to fostering an environment where all of our residents can age with dignity, access the care they need, and thrive," said Olszewski. "This report highlights the important work we are doing in Baltimore County to support our seniors, and we look forward to continuing to meet – and exceed – the evolving needs and priorities of our valued friends, family and neighbors."
