Crystal Palace vs Manchester United - Premier League: Team news 'LEAKED' with Marcus Rashford set to be DROPPED

We are yet to find out the answer to this question...

I'm sure when we hear from Erik ten Hag soon, all will be explained. I must admit I am a little baffled.

Marcus Rashford didn't start off the season particularly well and was taking a lot of flack off the Manchester United fanbase.

Through it all, Ten Hag stuck with his man and played him week in, and week out, as he searched for form.

Well, in the last week, he found it and he began to look like a winger full of confidence once more.

So, why has he been dropped?

It is obviously tactical as otherwise he would not even be on the bench.

Alejandro Garnacho will be a happy man today.

At the start of the season, most people would have assumed he would be starting every week for Manchester United.

But after four matches in the Premier League, his only minutes had come from the bench.

Well, now his time has come to impress from the gun, and I'm sure he is chomping at the bit to get going.

He scored against Southampton and bagged two against Barnsley in the League Cup, so I think he deserves his time to shine.

Will he impress?

Well then, the rumour is true...

Marcus Rashford has been dropped by Erik ten Hag this evening and instead, Alejandro Garnacho makes his first Premier League start of the season.

Rasmus Hojlund and Mason Mount both return from injuries to take a place on the bench, while Manuel Ugarte remains there too.

Just the one change from their win over Southampton last Saturday.
