Cumberland County woman charged in connection to overdose death
DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)– A Cumberland County woman has been charged in connection to an overdose death that occurred in March 2023, according to the Lower Paxton Township Police Department.
Police say on March 17, 2023, officers were dispatched to the 6000 block of Linglestown Road for a reported overdose and say the victim was found deceased at the scene. Through an investigation, police say they determined the cause of death was fentanyl toxicity.
Erica Coble, 44 of New Cumberland, was apprehended by police on Oct. 24, 2024, as a suspect in the drug delivery that resulted in the victim's death, police say.
Coble was charged with drug delivery resulting in death, manufacture, delivery, and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and other related charges, per police.
Coble was arraigned and failed to post a $100,000 bail. She is currently locked up at Dauphin County Prison, according to police.
