Cyclist struck, killed by driver in south Las Vegas hit-and-run

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - Las Vegas police are searching for a driver involved in a deadly hit-and-run Monday morning.

Officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to the crash around 2:50 a.m. on Silverado Ranch Boulevard and Bermuda Road. An unidentified vehicle and a cyclist were involved in the crash.

An investigation would determine that the cyclist died at the scene, while the other driver fled and remains outstanding.

East and westbound lanes of Silverado Ranch will remain closed between Bermuda and 555 Silverado Ranch Blvd due to debris and an ongoing investigation.

The restrictions will remain in place until the investigation is complete.
