Dallas Holiday Parade Traffic Advisory Saturday, December 2, 2023

Please be advised that a permitted special event, the Dallas Holiday Parade, is scheduled to occur Saturday, Dec. 2. The parade will start at 9 a.m. and is expected to draw a large crowd of spectators. Road closures related to this special event will impact traffic in the Central Business District.

The construction of bleachers in the parking lanes along Commerce Street will reduce available metered parking beginning Tuesday, November 28. Bleacher construction is not to interrupt peak rush hour traffic before 9 a.m. and from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. All bleachers will be removed, and meters unhooded, by 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4.

The parade starts at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2 at the corner of Market Street and Commerce Street; proceeds east on Commerce Street; right on Harwood Street; right on Young Street and disperses at Young Street and Akard Street.
