SULLIVAN, Ill. (WCIA) — The Sullivan Sewer Department is working on repairing a water main break.

The city said that once it's repaired, residents in certain parts of the city will be under a boil order. The boil order mainly impacts the North Trail Park, but several other parts of the city will be impacted as well.

The boil order includes Hagerman St. just past Market St., Camfield St. to Hunter St. and halfway between Hunter and McClellan St. back up to Hagerman.

The City of Sullivan asks that once service is restored, residents boil all water for at least one minute before drinking, cooking or brushing their teeth with it. They also recommend drinking bottled water at this time.
