ARLINGTON, Va. ( DC News Now ) — Tuesday is the beginning of the end for the DC Circulator. The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) announced the complete phase-out for buses starting Oct. 1.

One of the first lines on the chopping block will be in Rosslyn. The shutdown has many people upset from commuters who depend on the Circulator to the operators who drive them.

Circulator passenger Armida Romiro, said the shutdown has made her commute a lot longer and she will now have to take two buses to get to work.

"I usually take this bus three times a day and it's going to affect me a lot so now I have to find a way to my work every day," said Romiro.
