Deadly shooting investigation underway in East Knoxville
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. ( WATE ) — A man was pronounced dead at a shooting scene early Friday morning on Harrison Street just south of Magnolia Avenue, according to the Knoxville Police Department.
KPD's Homicide Unit detectives are investigating the deadly shooting. Officers responded to the scene just before 5:30 a.m., KPD said, where they found a man who had been shot at least once.

"The victim was pronounced dead at the scene," KPD stated in a news release. "KPD Homicide Unit detectives and Crime Lab personnel responded to the scene and are leading the investigation, which remains in the preliminary stages at this time."
