Dearborn Heights woman asks Muslim neighbor for headscarf help in heartwarming exchange

A sweet neighborly exchange caught on a doorbell camera in Dearborn Heights is warming hearts across the internet.

In the video, a woman appears on her neighbor's porch, respectfully seeking guidance from her Muslim neighbor, Rahab Almohammed, on how to properly wear a headscarf for a mosque funeral.

"I don't know ... can you just tell me how to put it on because I've got to go to the mosque," the woman said.

After grabbing her own headscarf, Almohammed walked her neighbor through the process step by step and then gave her headscarf to the neighbor, who was planning to buy one.

"You can keep that cause I've got a million at home," Almohammed said.

On one YouTube video of the exchange that had more than 106,000 views, commenters praised the moment:

"I love how she is trying so hard to be respectful to another religion and the neighbor recognizes that," one viewer said.
