Death investigation underway at Knoxville home

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. ( WATE ) — A man has died and detectives are investigating at a home on Hawthorne Avenue, the Knoxville Police Department said Tuesday.
KPD stated in a social media post at 1:24 p.m. that the cause of death "is unknown at this time," and that Crime Scene Technicians and Medical Examiner's personnel were on the scene.
"The investigation is ongoing and in the early stages," KPD said.
