Delta delivered on its promise of a safe, on-time and elevated experience for the airline’s customers this Thanksgiving holiday, carrying more than 3.8 million customers on over 39,000 flights.*

Those figures cover the period spanning Friday, Nov. 17, through Sunday, Nov. 26. Five of those travel days were “brand days” – days when no flights were canceled across both mainline Delta flights and Delta Connection flights.

Furthermore, only seven flights were canceled during that period.

“Delta people went above and beyond, as they always do, to get our customers safely to their loved ones during this special time of year,” said Mike Spanos, Chief Operating Officer. “They delivered outstanding operational reliability with welcoming, caring, elevated service for our customers.”

Final numbers for the full holiday period of Nov. 17-28 are still pending.
