Devon Seafood Grill closing Pennsylvania location, WARN notice says
PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (WHTM) — A popular steak and seafood restaurant franchise will be closing one of its Pennsylvania-based locations in the coming weeks.
According to a WARN notice filed by the Department of Labor & Industry (L&I), the Devon Seafood Grill restaurant on 225 South 18th Street in Philadelphia will be closing its doors early next year.

"Located in historic Rittenhouse Square, Devon Seafood Grill is the ideal place to celebrate a date night, girls' night or a much-needed happy hour," Devon's website says. "Experience Philadelphia's freshest seafood and finest cuts of steaks, while enjoying the ambiance of Rittenhouse Square Park."
L&I says that as a result of this location's upcoming closure, 76 jobs will be affected. Moving forward, the closure and corresponding layoffs are expected to begin on January 1, 2025, running through January 3, 2025.
This well-known restaurant chain, which is owned by Houlihan's Restaurants, Inc., currently has three locations across the country, with one residing here in Dauphin County.
